What are Recommendations?

Recommendations are AI-powered, actionable suggestions generated by GeoRank to help you improve your visibility across AI platforms. These aren’t generic tips — they’re specific to your brand, your keywords, and your competitive landscape.

How they work

GeoRank analyzes your visibility data, competitor performance, and AI response patterns to generate prioritized actions. Each recommendation includes:
  • What to do — A clear, specific action
  • Potential impact — How much this could improve your GEO Score
  • Status tracking — Mark recommendations as in progress or completed

Accessing recommendations

  1. Go to Recommendations in your dashboard sidebar
  2. View your list of current recommendations
  3. Click Start to begin working on one
  4. Mark it as Complete when you’re done

Generating new recommendations

Recommendations are generated automatically based on your plan’s frequency: You can also generate recommendations manually by clicking Generate on the Recommendations page.
Manual generation uses your monthly recommendation quota.

Types of recommendations

GeoRank may suggest actions like:
  • Content gaps — Topics you should create content about to improve AI citations
  • Source opportunities — Publications or websites where getting mentioned could boost your visibility
  • Keyword optimization — Adjustments to your keyword strategy based on what’s working
  • Competitive insights — Specific areas where competitors outperform you and how to close the gap

Tracking progress

The Recommendations page shows a progress bar with how many recommendations you’ve completed. Use this to stay on track and measure your implementation velocity.
